GeriGPs Committee

The British Geriatrics Society GeriGPs group have their own Committee comprised of 11 GPs with a particular interest in the care of older people in the primary care setting. The GeriGPs Group was founded because we felt sure that the many GPs who enjoy caring for older people would value and benefit from a group of like-minded colleagues. GeriGPs showcases our ability to combine specialist knowledge with community based practice. We are uniquely placed to contribute to the long-term management of older people living with frailty, emphasising the importance of continuity of care.
