Why we started GeriGPs

We started GeriGPs Group because we feel sure that the many GPs who enjoy caring for older people would value and benefit from a group of like-minded colleagues. The group will be able to help to promote our ability to combine our specialist knowledge with our familiarly with community based practice.

We are uniquely placed to contribute to the long-term management of older people living with frailty, emphasing the importance of continuity of care.   

Although only recently formed (summer 2018), we are growing daily, and already making our presence felt in BGS’s representations to national decision-makers.
