Medicine when i realised that all the role models I'd had throughout my career so far were Geriatricians. These outstanding, pragmatic, holistic and ultimately very human clinicians who regularly displayed their own passion advocating for individuals who so easily have their voices drowned out.

Reason for joining the BGS Trainees' Council:

Joining the trainees council gives the chance to engage with others who share the same passion, learn from them and work collaboratively to improve the quality of geriatric training. I found my tribe in Geriatric Medicine and I want to support others in doing the same.
