Dr Amit Arora, creator of world-renowned reconditioning campaigns, to become next BGS President Elect

The BGS is delighted to announce that Dr Amit Arora has won the election to be its next President Elect. Dr Arora will officially take up the role during the BGS Autumn Meeting on 20 November 2024. He will be supporting the incoming BGS President, Professor Jugdeep Dhesi, for a period of two years, and will then become President himself from November 2026.

Dr Jugdeep Dhesi announced as BGS President Elect

The BGS is delighted to announce that, following a vote by a record number of members, Dr Jugdeep Dhesi will be its new President Elect. Dr Dhesi will take up the role from 11 November, supporting the next BGS President, Professor Adam Gordon. She will become BGS President in November 2024 for a period of two years.

Professor Adam Gordon wins election for BGS President Elect with largest voter turnout in the Society’s history

Professor Adam Gordon has won the election for President Elect of the British Geriatrics Society (BGS) in a ballot that saw the highest turnout in the Society’s history with a record-breaking 25% of the Society’s membership casting its vote.
