Emma Vardy

"Dr Emma Vardy has been a busy member of the BGS during the COVID pandemic. She rapidly convened national experts to draw up guidance for the detection and management of delirium in the context of COVID. She also collated evidence to assist development of Public Health England guidance on testing for COVID in the context of delirium. Dr Vardy has shared her experience of working remotely and moving into community services through blogs and webinars. Throughout her time as Chair of the BGS Dementia SIG she has advocated for people with dementia, in particular around care home visiting. "
