My name is Diana and I’m an ST4 SpR in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. I’m one of the new Policy reps, working together with Megan to represent trainees on the BGS Policy committee. This is a multidisciplinary group which acts as a source of guidance on national policy and works to improve the care of older people. I think it’s so important for trainees to engage with this process and we are always keen to hear from you! Please get in touch if there is anything you would like to feedback or discuss.
I’m so glad to be part of the BGS trainees council, partly because I have found attending BGS events so informative and inspirational in the past and I would really like to try to help support other people to get into this amazing speciality!
