elearning: Supporting members' CPD
This page brings together elearning materials developed by the BGS and other organisations to support members to keep up-to-date with their continuing professional development. It will be updated with new learning resources as they become available.
This elearning course, designed and presented by dedicated clinicians from across geriatric medicine, will cover the identification of frailty and interventions to improve outcomes for those with frailty.
It is free to all BGS members. If a CPD certificate is required, there is a fee to attain this and a requirement to achieve 85% on the multiple-choice questions.

The elearning for Healthcare Hub includes a huge number of elearning modules of differing lengths and levels.
It includes programmes on Geriatric Medicine, Frailty and End of Life Care.
Its All Our Health modules cover public health topics including dementia, healthy ageing, falls and fractures.

A number of resources are available for free to RCP members via its RCP OnlineEd™ courses portal.
They also produce the RCP Medicine podcast which is available to all for free via Buzzsprout, Soundcloud or Spotify.
