Reason for joining the BGS Trainees' Committee
There is a lot of change in medical training with the implementation of the new IM curriculum. The only way to ensure trainees views and experience can be heard is to get involved! I am passionate about ensuring that future geriatric trainees will be ensured good training and that any issues affecting current trainees are acted upon. If you have any concerns about training or any questions about future changes to the curriculum I would be happy to hear from you

Why do you feel trainees should get involved with the committee?
We all care about the future of geriatric medicine and training issues. The only way to ensure trainees can influence this in the BGS and JRCPTB is to get involved- particularly with a group such as the trainees committee. Plus you get to work with a fun dynamic group of individuals from around the UK
