Dr Shanelle Ward

I am currently an internal medical trainee at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. I have worked in geriatric medicine in multiple different hospitals and I have found it to be the most interesting and rewarding area of medicine that I have worked in. I intend to apply to higher training in geriatric medicine once I have completed my IMT programme. I became a junior regional trainee rep because I wanted to work with the BGS and explore the role it plays in our region. This is a rewarding and dynamic specialty and I am very interested in playing a part in the role the BGS plays in improving care for our patients in this region.
