This report sets out data that currently exists regarding nurses and AHPs working in older people’s healthcare in England and suggests how this workforce could be better utilised. 

A network of charities and volunteers exist to support many aspects of older people's lives, in areas such as care, wellbeing, and health research.

Proactive care involves acting early to prevent, delay or manage the effects of frailty. This issue explores some innovative ideas from BGS members, and introduces our recent Be Proactive reports.

This final chapter provides a conclusion, as well as appendices including case studies of successfully implemented proactive care services.
